The Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Open University (BAOU) was established by the Act No.14 of 1994 passed by the Gujarat State Legislature, and assented to by the Governor of Gujarat on 27th July, 1994. The BAOU is the seventh Open University in the country in terms of their establishment. The University offers 72 programmes with an enrolment of more than 1,00,000 learners.

The headquarters of the university is located at Ahmedabad. The University has established Regional Centre on the campus of South Gujarat University, Rajkot and has initiated the process of another establishing Regional centre on the campus of North Gujarat University, Patan. The University has more than 507 study centers. It has jurisdiction over the whole state of Gujarat. It is open to all persons irrespective of classes, castes, creed, religion or sex.

ITI Form 2019

ITI Admission of Gujarat has been started since 1st June 2019. The Online Form was ended on 22nd June 2019. So if you have filled up online form at itiadmission.gujarat.gov.in then you could watch merit list and download call letter online from the date 30th June 2018.

Education Qualification
Applicants should have completed 10th (High School) or 10+2 (Intermediate) from the recognized board/institute.

Age of the candidates should be at least 14 years.

Candidates should have domicile certificate of Gujarat state issued by competent authority.

Candidates have to produce original certificates during counselling.

If anyone found ineligible during any stage his/her candidates will be cancelled.

RTE Admission 2019-20 Gujarat Application Form- The applications will be invited by Directorate of Primary Education for the admissions into primary classes. Children of age group born between 2 June 2013 to 01 June 2014 will be considered for admission. Along with that the child must belong to one of the categories:- SC/ST with Parent’s Annual Income upto 2 Lakh, OBC with Parent’s Annual Income upto 1 Lakh and GEN Category with Annual Income up to 68,000. The Children not satisfying this criterion will not be administered and the list of the rejected forms will be displayed on the website with the reason of rejection.
