All India Primary Teachers Federation (AIPTF) has immense pleasure in launching its website for our members and teaching fraternity in India and globally. AIPTF is an affiliating body of Primary teachers’ organizations in the country. More than 2.3 million teachers are its members. The teachers unions in 24 states are affiliated to it.
It came into existence into the year 1954 to work effectively for defending and promoting teachers rights and interests and contributing towards achieving quality education for all. It has completed sixty years of existence in 2014 and it is one of the a few selected teachers’ unions in the country which are still surviving with many odds and leaving an impact on educational scenario of the country.
AIPTF also aims to unite all teachers working in the elementary level throughout India under one roof to foster the spirit of brotherhood/sisterhood and cooperation among all the members of the profession and to safeguard and promote the rights and privileges of primary teachers on all matters relating to their employment and conditions of service and create consciousness about their duties and responsibilities.
